Meet the Team
Our team members fall into several categories. Mission Ready members are field-qualified and participate in all trainings and call-outs. Candidate members are newer members who are currently being trained and intend to achieve Mission Ready status. Support members participate in trainings and other events on a limited basis.

Jasper (Labrador Retriever), Public Relations K-9, Recently Passed (2008)
Her dog Lil’ Jasper, or Jasper to his friends, was an 8-year-old AKC registered Labrador Retriever. Jasper retired from active duty due to an injury and was one of two full-time Public Relations dogs for the group. When he wasn't giving pony rides to the local kids, Jasper enjoyed rolling around on his back, barking at the Fed-Ex man, beating everyone with his baseball bat sized tail, and getting pats on the head. Thank You Jasper - Rest Well! |

The majority of her call-outs have consisted of human remain detections and the occasional Alzheimer walk away.
Trouble (born LZS Trouble in Feb. 2002) is a registered ABCA Border Collie. He is Mission Ready in Tracking/Trailing, and Cadaver Level III. Trouble is currently training for Water Search. When he’s not looking for people, he enjoys playing soccer with his family, pretending to herd the family’s five horses (who are not too impressed) and barking at children's amusement park rides. |
